Pre Detox Day Two and Three

I manage to go over my shopping list three times and still managed to forget something when i finally went out and got everything. I have never in my life seen my fridge so full of vegetables, 2 crispers in a fridge are not enough if you eat this amount of vegetables.

Saturday I decided to condition the body a little bit by having no coffee, Sunday however not as successful and had 2 cups of coffee (oh well we will see how i react to no coffee come Monday).

The prep work in total took me about 8 hours over the 2 days, mostly a lot of chopping and rationing but i think it will make the process a lot easier. Plus if you have a label maker it is really handy. My fridge is full of pretty labels so i know what i need to eat and when. It feels good to be organized.

Monday marks day 1. Let the Cleanse begin!

Pre Detox Day One

So we have gotten our grocery list organized, tomorrow we shop and chop!

Started my tracking today. Daily track list includes weight, puffiness (aka bloatiness), morning energy and PH of the Urine.

This morning my urine was at 6, not sure if that is a good thing or not, i am assuming the idea is to be as close to 7 as possible but not 100% sure.

I am making sure we have everything laid out and prepared for this process as it is extremely detailed and if you fail to prepare, be prepared to fail!

Did my last full crossfit workout before the detox, have to motify the training regime for the next two weeks.

Starting to get exciting for this journey!

A Meal Plan for Total Detox

So my boss, Gino gave me a challenge at the beginning of 2011 and I feel that I am always up for a new challenge. He asked if I was willing to do a cleanse with him. Now I have done cleanse before but nothing to this magnitude. I am scared shitless! But I am going forward and doing it. I have faith that it will have great results for me and help test my will power.

The Plan

The Detox is a no coffee, no caffienated beverages, sugar, meat, wheat products, cow dairy products, or alcohol is allowed.

So the questions becomes what do you eat??? Vegetables, Vegetables and more Vegetables, Oh and water and herbal teas are also allowed.

Are you scared YET? Kidding! Well Maybe?

We have planned everything for week one, shopping scheduled for tomorrow and prep on Saturday. Cleanse starts on Monday Jan 31st.

But in addition to this cleanse, our lovely trainer, who just completed this cleanse would like us to track somethings on top of what we are eating.

I have decided that the best way to ensure that I am keeping track is to let everyone read my journey with me.

Tomorrow marks Day one of the Detox plan (3 days pre detox and followed by 3 days post detox).

I encourage all my friends to help me stay on my course for the next 18 days total and share my journey with you!
